• Translated over 3,500 pages in-house from September 1997 to December 1999, primarily manuals and engineering documents concerning Nikon's line of $10 million microlithographic semiconductor production tools (steppers and scanners). Topics included electronic, optical, and mechanical aspects of those devices, as well as VMS, Windows NT, and Linux operating systems; networking; and related applications.
• Worked as Technical Instructor from January 2000 to October 2001, teaching Nikon's engineers and customers how to install, use, maintain, and repair the machines and their software. Performed installations and repairs on the machines myself. Wrote and edited manuals for customers and engineers.
